Independent Living

We have a  team of Independent Living Specialist ready to support you to become more self-determined in daily life.

Transportation

Southwest Center for Independence is pleased to offer Southwest Rides, a fully ADA accessible transportation service.

Nursing Home Transitions

We partner with local Aging and Disability Resource Centers and Single Entry Points to provide Community Transition Services 

Employment

Our Employment Specialists work closely with adults and transition age youth to assess your interests and skills, and then find/get/keep a job in your community. 

Youth Services

We are seeking youth with disabilities that want to help educate their community on what it means to have a disability and how to live with the that disability successfully.

Housing

SWCI can help you navigate through the available housing resources in our communities, and provide you with a list of subsidized housing units for which you may be eligible to apply.

Low Vision

SWCI offers support groups and individual training to help seniors 55 and over with low vision and blindness to live independently, remain active, and cope with vision loss.
