November 20 @ 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm

The Applying for Social Security Disability class explains the difference between SSI and SSDI, describes SSA’s process for determining disability,  and explains what medical evidence Social Security will expect to see. This class is ideal for people applying for Social Security for the first time as well as those who have applied before and have been denied.

This class session is for those who wish to attend in person at a Southwest Center office, either in Durango or Cortez. It is also for individuals who would like to attend via Google Meet online.

Please note that we currently have a waitlist for assistance, and our assistance is not guaranteed. We prioritize who we serve based on most effective use of our resources and which consumers are most able to benefit from our process.

Please contact us to register for this class.
